I have been making these fine porcelain slips for a few years. They were my first attempt at producing a repeatable shape.

Originally they were very thin, almost eggshell thick, very translucent and distorted by being fired to 1280 degrees centigrade. That was why I decided on the boxes, not only are the beautifully presented with the wood wool padding but the box provides practical protection to the pieces. They are in a selection of shapes and all fit in the boxes. I also have sets of 2 mounted on wooden plinths - ideal for fresh ground salt and pepper.
